The Guidance Gap

PROBLEM

Traditional careers advice doesn't cover the questions this generation is actually asking. Should I buy a house or start a business? How do I negotiate my first salary? Can I make a living from my creative passion?

Young people are calling for life skills workshops — on CVs, interviews, budgeting, and money management. The education system teaches theory. Threshold delivers reality.

Why We Exist

OUR WHY

We're Maryam and Rochelle — two professionals who built the careers we wanted, but not without asking questions nobody seemed willing to answer. One of us navigates finance and technology. The other champions brand and place. Between us, we've sat in the rooms this generation is trying to get into.

"Brilliant young people shouldn't have to stumble into the right answer by accident. This is the access we wish we'd had."
Vision
A generation equipped with the knowledge, confidence, and connections to navigate major life decisions — on their own terms.
Mission
To connect Gen Z and Alpha with authentic, practical guidance from real people — closing the gap between classroom learning and real-world readiness.
Authenticity
Real talk over rehearsed presentations. We share honest experiences — including the failures.
Accessibility
Every young person deserves quality guidance, regardless of background or network.
Relevance
We address the questions Gen Z is actually asking — not what adults assume they should be asking.
Empowerment
We provide tools and confidence to help people align to their purpose and back themselves.
How We Work

OUR APPROACH

Every step is built around listening first and acting second. We let the community tell us what they need — then we find the right people to deliver it.

01
Listen
We survey students and young professionals to understand what guidance they actually need — not what we assume.
02
Connect
We match them with professionals from our vetted network who have relevant, authentic experience.
03
Engage
Interactive sessions built around real talk — honest conversations, not lectures. Active, not passive.
04
Empower
Participants leave with actionable insights, real contacts, and skills they can use immediately.
05
Measure
We track outcomes through post-session surveys, follow-up engagement, and long-term impact data.
